Meet the Piercers
Matt
|
Matt has been a piercer since 1997, and has trained some of the best piercers in the area. Matt participated with the original DHEC forums to regulate body piercing in South Carolina and later to legalize and regulate tattooing. Matt is Alaskan born, and was raised in California & Michigan. He moved to S.C. during high school, graduating with special awards for S.A.T. scores. He is a former U.S. Army Reserves Dental Specialist, who was top of his class & received special awards for excellence. After completing basic training and school, he moved back to the Lowcountry where he began his piercing apprenticeship.

Kate

Kate has been piercing since 2012. She grew up in the Lowcountry, graduated from Straford High School, and attended College of Charleston, studying Early Childhood Education. You can see more of Kate's work on instagram at @shtburns |
Angel

Angel was born in Eustis, Florida. She was raised partly in Florida and partly in Georgia, before moving to South Carolina in 2002. She joined the Army National Guard in 2006, where she served 6 years as an Avionic Mechanic and Helicopter Electrician. She began working at exotic impressions in July, 2017. DeEtta completed her apprenticeship in 2018 at Exotic Impressions. She is a South Carolina native and graduated from Goose Creek High School and received her career technical education in early childhood development . DeEtta went on to graduate from Lacy's School of beauty and Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology earing her license in Cosmetology and Esthetics. |
